What is the best way to clean athletic shoes?

We do not recommend machine washing athletic shoes unless the shoes have a specific notation that they are machine washable.  Use a clean, damp rag to remove surface dirt from the shoes, then hand wash them with Kiwi Sport “Shoe Stuff” shoe shampoo (available at Meyer's).  Never use Clorox or similar products on shoes.

Is there a guarantee on your shoes?

Yes.  Generally, all of our regular priced merchandise is guaranteed against defects in materials and workmanship for 90 days after the date of purchase.  Sale items are generally guaranteed against defects in materials and workmanship for 30 days after date of purchase.  The guarantee provides for the replacement of the product with the same or similar merchandise.  Jansport backpacks have lifetime guarantees—the terms of these guarantees are attached to the backpacks.

What is your cash refund policy on returns?

Cash refunds will be given on returned merchandise purchased by cash provided that the receipt is presented; merchandise is returned within two weeks of purchase date; merchandise has not been worn, used, or soiled; and merchandise was not purchased on sale or lay-away plan.  Shoes must be returned in the original box, and apparel must be returned with all tags still attached.

Can I order shoes through this web site?

No, we do not sell directly through this web site.  It is our professional opinion that shoes must be tried on to insure a good fit.  Since there is no universally accepted standard of measure for the sizing of footwear, shoe sizes frequently vary from manufacturer to manufacturer and even from style to style.  Ordering shoes online will likely result in returns and replacements which can be frustrating and time-consuming for you, our valued customer.  Also, comfort cannot be experienced through the Internet—comfort can only be experienced in person.  Please use this web site to learn about our constantly updated products, sales and promotions.  Then come into our store to see, feel, and be fitted in our merchandise.  Let us provide you with the service you deserve.

Do you carry wide width shoes?

Yes.  Although we do not carry all styles in wide widths, we do have a good selection in stock for men, women, and children.  We also carry some narrow width women's and children's shoes.

What are your store hours?

We are open from 9:30 A.M. to 5:30 P.M. on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday and from 9:30 A.M. to 5:00 PM. on Monday, Thursday, and Saturday.  We are closed on Sunday.  We are also closed on the following holidays:  New Years Day, Mardi Gras, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
